The CNOS-41 from Combat Night Optics is a next-generation foldable night vision device engineered for maximum comfort, adaptability, and field reliability. Featuring a perfectly balanced housing and a compact optical hinge, the CNOS-41 minimizes neck fatigue while providing adjustable eye spacing for a customized fit. With two dedicated release buttons, operators can quickly remove either side of the unit and use it as a single-mono night vision viewer.

For rapid transitions, the CNOS-41 folds twice and locks securely onto the top of the helmet through an innovative patented mounting mechanism. This allows users to instantly switch between active observation and weightless standby—ideal for extended operations, patrols, and mobile missions.

Product Overview

The CNOS-41 is a highly adaptable foldable night vision goggle (NVG) designed and developed exclusively by Combat Night Optics for professional users who require comfort, modularity, and uncompromising reliability in nighttime operations. Engineered with a balanced center of gravity and a short inter-axis hinge, the CNOS-41 significantly reduces helmet pressure and neck strain, making it ideal for long-duration missions. The device also provides fully adjustable and lockable interpupillary settings, ensuring a perfect optical fit for any operator.

One of the key advantages of the CNOS-41 is its dual-configuration capability. Thanks to two dedicated release buttons on each side, operators can quickly detach the left or right optical tube and switch into single-tube night vision mode. This configuration is especially valuable for tasks requiring one eye to remain unaided for peripheral awareness, navigation, or quick daylight transitions.

The CNOS-41 also features a unique double-fold mechanism, enabling the unit to flip up and fold back twice, resting securely on the top of the helmet. Combined with Combat Night Optics’ patented helmet mount system, the device can be “parked” in a zero-weight standby position, allowing the operator to move freely without the forward pull commonly seen in conventional NVGs. This makes it highly suitable for military patrols, tactical teams, law-enforcement units, search-and-rescue, nighttime exploration, and all forms of extended field activities.
